Attendance & Membership

You must be age 18 or above to attend BLOC STUDIO.

By signing up to our website, you automatically accept and agree to be bound by these terms.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to or eject you from our Studio for safety reasons or any other reason. Owners and/or instructors reserve the right to turn clients away if they do not have the correct medical clearance. Ensure you have completed the health questionnaire before your first session.

Participating in any form of exercise at our Studio is done entirely at your own risk. Members are advised to seek medical advice prior to commencing any exercise program if they are in any doubt about their ability to engage in exercise. You may, at your own discretion and expense, obtain personal insurance for loss, injury or damage that you might sustain arising from use of the gym. You exercise at your own discretion and accept any injury or illness brought on by exercise is your own responsibility. 

You must inform any instructor if there is any risk to your health by participating in a class. This includes any existing injuries, muscle soreness or discomfort and pregnancy prior to commencement. If you have a Medical Condition we strongly advise that you seek approval from a medical practitioner to participate in any of our classes. Participating in exercise at our Studio with a Medical Condition is done entirely at your own risk.

By the execution of this agreement, I accept and assume full responsibility for any and all injuries, damages (both economic and non-economic), and losses of any type, which may occur to me or my guest, and I hereby fully and forever release and discharge the company, its insurers, employees, officers, directors, and associates, from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action, or causes of action, present or future, whether the same be known or unknown, anticipated, or unanticipated, resulting from or arising out the use of said equipment and facilities.

We are not responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings. We recommend that you only bring items which are necessary for you to possess for the duration of your visit.

We use a third-party client management software known as “Glofox”. Payment must be made prior to making a booking. All bookings are made via Glofox platform or the BLOC STUDIO website. To create a Membership or book a Class, your personal information will be provided to Glofox. The collection and use of personal information by Glofox is governed by Glofox’s privacy policy.

If a class is full you can sign up for the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, everyone on the waitlist will be notified by email and/or text offering a place in the class. You may then book the class on a first come first serve basis.

Sessions cannot be transferred to another individual and cannot be used by another person. If someone other than you has booked into the class and arrives to use the session they will be asked to create an account and purchase their own session.

We reserve the right to increase prices and fees for ongoing Memberships at any time. We will notify you in writing of any changes to the pricing details of the Membership. If you are paying for your Membership by direct debit, you authorise us to debit any increase fee amounts from your nominated bank account. You will be given 30 days notice via writing before an increase takes place. If you do not agree to any pricing changes, you may cancel your Membership in accordance with these Terms.

The Intro Offer is only available for your very first purchase and is limited to one use per person. If you purchase any packs or a casual class, this intro offer will not be available anymore.

Cancellation policy

To cancel your monthly rolling membership, 30 days notice in writing is required. Please email to hello@blocstudio.co.uk.

If you have booked to attend a Class and wish to cancel your attendance, you must do this through the online booking system. To cancel without penalty, you must cancel the class 12 hours the class. If this is done with less than 12 hours notice, you will lose your credit. We will not accept cancellations by phone or email.

If you fail to attend as class, you will lose your credit.

Memberships, Credits and Gift Cards are Non-Transferable & Non-Refundable. Packs can be extended If you are injured in which case, we will request a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date.

Gift Vouchers are limited to the current sterling/credit value and are not redeemable for cash. We bear no responsibility for the loss or theft of Gift Vouchers. All Gift Vouchers have a strict expiry date and unredeemed balanced on Gift Vouchers are not refundable. All purchases are final.

We have the right to restrict or disable any account access at any time if we believe that you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of terms or policies on our app and/or website. We have the right to can terminate a membership without notice for inappropriate, offensive, or illegal behaviour as determined by us, which occurs on our premises or is directed at our owners, instructors or clients.

Where necessary, we have the right to withdraw/close use of all or part of the studio for the purpose of undertaking maintenance work or any other work considered necessary.

We reserve the right to change our opening hours/schedule at our Studio at any time, without notice to you. You will be notified of any permanent changes to our opening hours.

Out of consideration for the teacher and other clients, please do not be late. If you are more than 5 minutes late for a class, your spot may be given to a waitlisted or stand-by client and you may not be able to attend. There will be no refunds if you miss a class due to lateness.

Code of Conduct

Please be kind and treat everyone with respect. We promote a kind, friendly, understanding, non-judgemental environment. We would like everyone to feel welcome and comfortable.

The studio has a no shoes policy. Ensure to leave shoes and other personal items in the designated area.

Grip socks must be worn during classes.

Please take care of the Reformers and other equipment.

For hygiene reasons, ensure to wipe down the the Reformer you have been working on at the end of each class with the spray and cleaning cloth provided, ready for the next person to use it.

Leave the studio and the equipment as you found it ready for the next class.

Password and access issues

If you forget your password, please use the forgot password facility on the website or BLOC STUDIO app. If you believe your user account details including your password have become compromised, please notify us as soon as possible at hello@blocstudio.co.uk.

Amendments to our website

We may update or amend our website and/or app from time to time. We aim to give you reasonable notice of any significant changes, including any significant changes to these Terms.
